Step1 : Go to es home directory.

/usr/share/elastic search there you will find the following folder structure.

Step 2: Let’s say we have to install HQ plugin for monitoring elastic search.

This is what you need to do :

Step 3 :

Change to bin directory.

Step 4 :

Enter the following command in es_home bin directory.

Step 5 :

Restart elastic server using /etc/init.d/elastic search restart.

That’s it access HQ plugin using localhost:9200/_plugin/HQ.
