In Odoo sales process based on the sale order/quote you can choose invoicing policy.

This option gives flexibility to choose from various options as On Demand, On Delivery order, Before delivery order. On Completion of the event Invoice will sequence itself from odoo sales cycle.

Odoo can hold all these types of information you can follow navigation- Sales>> Sales>> Quotations- Other Information tab
