Overview
Developed a web application ‘marketing tool’ for an advertising agency to analyze the ‘City, Traffic, Age group and people Point of Interest (PoI).’ Through this application, the agency will get the research results which helps them in analyzing and identifying their advertisement plans for the target audience.
Integration
Integrate different API’s provided in reputes to ‘Cities, Age groups, PoI’ and all the data from API’s will be stored in a database.
Filters
The stored data will be filtered based on the selection made by the users and this data is displayed as per the selected filters.
Export
Provided two options, one is an export PDF and another one to download a compared report of the results, that is displayed based on the filters selection.
Requirements
Integrating different API’s
- Client wants us to integrate different API’s provided in regards to ‘Cities, Age groups, PoI’ and all the data from API’s should be stored in a database and require a filter option for this integrated data for the end users to filter the information of their choice.
Display data as per the selected POI’s
- Data with respect to ‘moving, resident and total population’ is shown as per the selected filters. This data should be represented pictorially in the form of pie, bar charts etc. to provide an option of exporting the results in the form of a PDF.
Compare report
- Client also needs an option to download a compare report of the results displayed based on the filters

Cron Jobs
Running cron jobs daily for getting the latest data from the API’s and storing them in the web application All the results of the crons are executed and displayed in the application to check whether the job is success or failed
