Requirements

• To have more efficient billing for products and give membership benefits to buyers, application needed to have a membership registration service for Individual customers, corporate buyers, strategic partners and internal staff.

• Client has Clothing and Accessory Retail chain of stores with number of Business Units each having different product line, suppliers and customers.

• Client had a requirement to create Sale order to Purchase order relation and make internal moves through various warehouse location tracking of Stock by location.

• These are to be processed at point of sale console and instantly customer can avail the benefits such as discounts, coupons and credit benefits etc.

• Completely Excel based process which was cumbersome.
• Manage return of products through Service repair orders and provide invoices.
• Validation of Customer pending Invoices,Payments and discount was cumbersome with thousands of customers involved in the daily transactions.
• Product Returns and Repair Management followed by invoicing was difficult to record and track.
• Manually go through all leads and customers & create Customer Invoices
• Also application had to create Sale order and pay using different payment method and payment term using Bank, Card, Cash payment.
• Duplication of data such as Customers, products
• To avoid Duplication each customer was allocated unique customer ID.
• As multiple business units were maintaining sales, purchases and revenue, it was a tedious process as consolidation became challenging.
• There was clear need of product categorization,taxes and earnings was to be based on the product category itself.
• Manual entries and Accounting books were not maintained properly.
• Generating Accounting reports was a time taking process with previous applications
