Desired Candidate Profile for Liferay:

Must have 1- 2 yrs of experience with Liferay portal framework, ICE Faces, Portlets.

Must have 2- 4 yrs of coding experience in developing solutions using Java, J2SE / J2EE, JSF, Servlets, JSP, APIStruts, Spring Annotations, Hibernate, AJAX, Jquery, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MYSQL, XML, XSLT, WSDL, Web Services SOAP, REST on Linux and Windows platforms.

Must have hands on experience on debugging the Java code.

Must be familiar with Agile Development methodologies such as SCRUM to manage and monitor the progress of the projects.

Must be familiar with Eclipse flavour IDE and source code control using either SVN or VSS.

Job Description :

Work closely with the senior technology managers & functional experts to architect and develop the best technical design and solution approach.

Provide hands-on systems design experience, and strong knowledge of general engineering practices.

Be responsible to Lead the software development teams, develop & test the application components, modules using relevant technologies and software engineering practices, as required.

Be responsible for SCM / Version Control of the solutions / components developed & maintained.

Closely track the technical issues for the given project ensuring quality and completeness of the components.
